Guest guest
A friend of mine asked for some advice on energy boosting/combatting fatigue (See below). I liked my response so much, I thought I'd share it. Comments/additions? . . . No problem. There's an inexpensive, readily available Chinese herb called Dong Quai that's very good for a good night's sleep, especially when you're overtired, etc. Wake up with your head nice and clear and your body nice and light. So, for STARTERS, take 2-3 caps of that within an hour of bedtime. (P.S. It doesn't PUT you to sleep, it relaxes, clears your head. Also good during the day for a headache or a hangover. Also very good for female problems -- I haven't had any since I started taking it myself. [Also, since I broke up with my last girlfriend.]) For a " pick-me-up " , take ginkgo (biloba), again inexpensive and readily available. Nice, non-jittery, mental energizer. Very smooth, no crash. 1-2 caps or tabs, preferably on an empty stomach. Those two things should make a big difference. ALSO, get yourself a good multivitamin to take with every meal. THAT should help, too. Keep me apprised. Love, B P.S. Green tea is a nice bracing beverage. It's my " morning coffee " . And real good for you, too. P.P.S. Ginseng is a good thing, too, and puts some power in your pants BTW. Also, goji berries make a nice snack or part of breakfast. (They and some almonds ARE my breakfast usually.) Spirulina, chlorella, wheat grass, all good too. piantanida31 ALl right dude, working until midnight. I see some excitement that night, say, a bad automobile accident. I lie awake until ~3:00 a.m. & need to be at work 6 hours later. So I wake up at 08:15 a.m., get ready, go to morning job. Do this 1-2 mornings per week (crazy back-to-back schedule early in the week). Can you recommend a good natural " pep " ? I'd LOVE to try something that would give me a little step back in my groove. Again, there are better alternatives. piantanida31@,,, Inexpensive meds that my insurance doesn't cover, a-la. . .I can't remember the name of the meds. It's made for shift workers, to give them a little pep. Robert Blau wrote: A) I don't know. B) I don't know if it matters. C) One doesn't know the quality. D) Why do you want to order? piantanida31 Hey Robert, If I get an e-mail from a Canadian Pharmacy & order through them, is it illegal? Any ideas? -Ando *
