The first story involves frozen veggies.  The video that was shown was

of mixed vegetables.  The original story was from Texas.  Some

frozen vegetables are sparking when they're microwaved.  The company

(I didn't hear the name -- great reporter, huh??) says the sparking is

caused by minerals in the soil that the veggies were grown in, and that

the veggies are perfectly safe to eat.  But you should take them out

of the microwave and heat them some other way . . .

Hmmm - it could be very iron rich soil. Then again, I would be a bit

worried about aluminum.
