I once knew a man from Finland who had gotten a massive load of mercury from the many fillings in his teeth because of a chelating drug he was on. One of the things he used to help get the mercury out of his body was garlic. Victoria
Guest guest
My dentist gave an entire 30-day before and then an after protocol. Don't remember all of it. But close to removal before and after was to take charcoal. Guest guest
Surely there must be more than garlic and charcoal tablets to detoxification of mercury and other heavy metals in the Chinese herbal materia medica ? I am surprised no-one has come up with anything else for such an important and relevant topic. In TCM cinnabaris, or Zhu Shu, chemical HgS is used to dispel heart fire but it should only be used in small quantities and for a short time. If a patient overdoses on Zhu Shu there must be a TCM antidote ! Sorry I don't know what it is ;-) Sammy. victoria_dragon <victoria_dragon [victoria_dragon] 19 December 2002 11:26 Chinese Traditional Medicine [Chinese Traditional Medicine] Re: mercury fillings > I had an emergency dental appointment this morning due to a cracked > tooth, they had to remove an old mercury almagam filling and replace > it, I got it replaced with a composite one.
