Guest guest Posted December 6, 2007 Report Share Posted December 6, 2007 As far as I know, amalgam (mercury) dental fillings are either banned or being phased out all over Europe and Japan has not taught amalgam placement in their dental schools for years, maybe decades. Unfortunately for us in the USA, the ADA is being very stubborn about defending the use of amalgam dental fillings. The damages they would be responsible for is staggering!
