Decrease in mammograms

A decrease in the use of mammograms, according to the link below, has experts

worried. Talk about convoluted medical thinking! Perhaps the recent decrease

in breast cancer can be attributed to more women _refusing_ to get mammograms!

What on earth are they thinking? Mammograms are brutal, painful and dangerous.

Some physicians are now using thermograms rather than expose the delicate breast

tissue of their patients to the radiation of a mammogram. The only good

radiation is no radiation at all. Ladies, please don't fall for this deadly

propaganda! I do regular self exams and if I should ever happen to feel

anything " suspicious " , I will opt for a thermogram. Okay, I'm not a physician

and encourage you to make your own informed decisions. This is my own personal

opinion.

Best wishes to all.....................Betsy

I have been looking into whether the wearing of bras affects the health of

breasts, and lo and behold

Also- iodine deficiency. Has this come up lately? Most iodine or a large

proportion of it is taken into breast tissue. Hence more women than men being

hypothyroid.
