Parabens are a family of alkyl esters of para-hydroxybenzoic acid that

differ by various chemical substitutions. The six widely marketed

para-hydroxybenzoic acid esters are methylparaben, ethylparaben,

propylparaben, isobutylparaben, butylparaben...
