Guest guest
are you sure about that? i know that carbon filters will remove chloride or chlorine but i had heard that fluoride needed a much more aggressive filtration system. with distillation you could remove the fluoride by distilling slowly and taking off the first litre or so (if doing say 20 litres) but then you would also need to re oxygenate the water and preferably run it also through a filtration system such as the pi mag system. as far as i know they are on the web but are quite expensive to buy but the water from them is delicious. i know a little about distilling as i am a hobbyist distiller myself toni Bruce Guilmette, Ph.D. wrote: > > Just be sure you are using a carbon filter AFTER the distiller. Guest guest
Carbon removes both fluoride and chlorine effectively. Not incredibly tough to do, nor does it have to be expensive.
