are you sure about that? i know that carbon filters will remove chloride

or chlorine but i had heard that fluoride needed a much more aggressive

filtration system. with distillation you could remove the fluoride by

distilling slowly and taking off the first litre or so (if doing say 20

litres) but then you would also need to re oxygenate the water and

preferably run it also through a filtration system such as the pi mag

system. as far as i know they are on the web but are quite expensive to

buy but the water from them is delicious.

i know a little about distilling as i am a hobbyist distiller myself

Carbon removes both fluoride and chlorine effectively. Not incredibly tough

to do, nor does it have to be expensive.
