Guest guest
It's my understanding that Autism is cause by a combination of things, but the most significant is photoperiod of the mother when she is carrying the baby. Basically, to sum it up, we use artificial lights too much, and the pregnant mother day/night cycle get extended (stays up too late, unnatural day/night cycles, etc.) and that in turn wreaks havoc with her hormones which in turn effect the developing fetus. I know there is also a genetic component too. It seems like number of things are involved. This is from a number of sources, including a Doctor friend of mine who has an autistic child. Guest guest
Moderator's Note: Chelation has helped autism in the younger years- http://www.healing-arts.org/children/holmes.htm#results It seems before age 12- there can be some remarkable improvement, but after then it seems less and less likely. But who is to say how much damage- once it is inflicted is completely reversable? Is a gun shot to the head completely reversable? Is it the fault of the treatment? For myself, I understand why people that are against vaccines for the mercury damage are so adament. The system has systemically denied the role of mercury damage for so long and so fiercely. There is a lot of money at stake for the powers that be. Many people are beginning to question the affects of mercury damage- the tide is turning. It would be in the best interests of the powers that be if it was pinned on anything other than the role of mercury. We have come so far- that really the best strategies to derail the movement are to confuse the issues as well as divide and conquer. We can look at other factors- but why dismiss the known dangers of mercury in the process? If the goal is to improve health- who benefits from not looking at mercury? Can we look at things in addition to mercury- yes and we should. If we start in-fighting who wins that battle? Neither the mercury group nor the photoperiod/omega 3 camp- the clear winner will be the one who was able to divide and conquer. ----------------- Elizabeth, With all do respect. If Autism was just caused by mercury then, Autism should be fairly easy to cure with chelating therapy? (Which can removed heavy metals.) Autism does not appear to have one cause as many thing photoperiod, omega 3s, and other therapies seem to be very helpful. In my opinion from lots of research is that autism manifest while the baby is brain is forming early in pregnancy. It's adapting to it's environment in the same way a baby with fetal alcohol syndrome. The baby developers to deal with it's hostile environment. With that, it's I agree mercury is not a good thing to have build up in your body. I look forward to your links. Guest guest
Moderator's Note: Well, thank goodness for small favors- perhaps vaccines were not a factor in your case. Others I fear are not so lucky. Interesting that you should ask about physical injury. There is a homeopathic remedy called Arnica that is great for the resulting harm from physical injuries. Ironically, the need for arnica can display itself in not liking to be touched- physically and/or emotionally. If that sounds like you, perhaps do some research on the remedy. Let us know if you think it does match, then we can discuss how to take it. Best Wishes, Misty ------------------------ In the last few months I have found out that I am dyspraxic and probably high functioning autistic. This is something I am working through, and has caused a lot of anguish. My son has Aspergers' and I hadn't connected my life long problems with his. What I need to say is this - I know that mercury toxicity is a major cause of autism despite all atempts by the medical system to prove otherwise (Mark Twain " there are lies, damn lies, and statistics " ). But I don't believe this problem is due to vaccinations. I am 54, remember having a polio jab when I was about 4 or 5 in the late 50's, but whatever harmed me so badly had already done its work by then. My mother said that when I was 3, I changed - pushed her away, wouldn't accept cuddling, wouldn't eat. She doesn't know what did it. Does anyone know if a physical injury could cause this sort of damage? Lynda
