You*ve gotta throw out the white bread and basically anything made with white enriched flour. That gets you well on your way. Then buy a bread machine and start experimenting with whole wheat and white whole wheat flour. Use brown rice, learn about millet and quinoa and other whole grains that we totally ignore as a culture. And cut out the red meat. No fiber at all there. Switch to legumes. Use Beano as a digestive aid if your body can*t handle them without...hmmmm...blowback? Don*t drink juice, eat the whole fruit. This is actually a pretty painless way to diet, because you don*t have to go hungry at all. Of course, you can*t buy most off-the-shelf, already-prepared foods, and you end up cooking more of your own food, which is also good for you. (And you don*t need the fiber supplements, either!) ) Carol Lee On 6/1/07, Robert Blau <robert-blau wrote: [PBS] Brenda Watson*s Fiber 35: Nature*s Weight Loss Secret TODAY 11:30 PM – 1:00 AM RATED: TV-Y7 Special.
