Guest guest
I have just recently started it too. I have to say that I am very pleased as well. I used to suffer from sinus problems and had headaches several times a week. I have so much energy now. I am very happy to have found this therapy. May I ask how much of your morning urine are you drinking now. I started with just a few drops. I am now drinking all of my first morning urination. \ Thanks, Tim On 4/2/07, Andries Cane <imlivingonpurpose wrote: > > Sorry I'm a bit behind on my emails. Guest guest
U are going the correct way Tim.U have to drink the whole of ur morning urine,,but excluding the first few and the last few drops. Also try to avoid all salty and spicy food from ur diet. The correct time of drinking the urine is 3am in winters and 2am in the summers(as Damartantra says).Goodluck. Guest guest
I too would be interested in hearing peoples thoughts on this therapy. Also, I have been doing some reading on the urine fast. I was curious if anyone has any experience with this. Guest guest
I've read about urine therapy too. It is mostly used in Japan and i believe to some extent in China too. From what I have read, it is not for all diseases. A warning was issued for diabetics. Urine therapy is not for diabetics because it will use your urine to heal your body and if your urine has high sugar content you can imagine what it would do. I believe most diseases can be helped by the urine therapy. Melly
Guest guest
Thanks Phil. Great summation. I'm NOT a squeamish type person--but I guess it's a half century of being told urine is the body's bad waste water that has my head stuck. I'm trying to get up enough courage to do the drop dose thing. I even bought the little paper cups to catch it in. They are still sitting there. I do know that in old days the doctors use to stick their finger in a patients urine sample and then taste it to see if it was sweet. That was how they knew if the patient had diabetes or not. A doctor gave a lecture to our group and this is what he told us. Samala, Renee ---- AS I said earlier I've never tried uropathy. But I don't think I can rule it out. Just as I can't rule out ingesting a poisonous plant....lol.
Guest guest
Well, in India they use urine therapy for diabetes. Maybe it's a western idea that it's not good for diabetes? Guest guest
Yes, I am aware of the arguments in favor of urine therapy, including historical use, and I have also seen scientific ones as well. The information you posted exaggerates the purity of urine - it is not exactly a purified blood food product in my and other opinions. It is true that most toxins are filtered out in the liver and passed on via the bowels; however, in addition to the excess vitamins and minerals and such the body did not absorb the first time through and urea and other constituent components, urine does indeed contain small amounts of toxins too. Actually, many people believe it is those toxins which may be the most beneficial of the various components of urine, because they act as mini-vaccinations which strengthen the blood and immune response to future toxins. For example, see: http://www.vanderbilt.edu/AnS/psychology/health_psychology/Urine_Therapy.htm In that sense, I suppose that urine therapy is a form of homeopathy. Homeopathy, medical vaccinations or urine therapy - either way, in general I simply do not like the idea of introducing ANY toxins in the body for any reasons (you could not drag me screaming and kicking to get a vaccination!). While urine contains some beneficial items (many of which medical labs are trying to synthesize), and while I do not doubt that there are instances where it has an overall positive effect for those who use it, I think that there are other better options available in the world today for strengthening the immune system and healing illness. And I still do not to the idea of re-introducing what the body has already eliminated - whether it be pee, poop or perspiration. None of which I view as metaphors for left-overs from a meal - trust me, I make sure I get all the good parts I want the first time through, and what I do not want, I seal and keep as fresh as possible for future use without having been eaten once already. Anyway, I have whizzed away enough time on the subject. I am not saying don't do it, just saying I won't do it. oleander soup , " philzach " <phil wrote: > > Here's something to add to the discussion of urine therapy (uropathy): > > " Healing with Urine Therapy > > Urine is not a dirty and toxic substance rejected by the body.
