Yeah, I loved this one: Chips / crackers / cookies: These generally contain white flour and sugar as well as trans fats, but it's not enough to simply look for these ingredients on the label; you have to actually "decode" the ingredients list that food manufacturers use to deceive consumers. They do this by hiding ingredients (such as hiding MSG in yeast extract, or by fiddling with serving sizes so they can claim the food is trans fat free, even when it contains trans fats (the new Girl Scout cookies use this trick). On my way to my car, I passed a table of girl scouts and one mother selling cookies. They asked If I wanted Girl Scout Cookies, and I politely said, "No, I'm sorry. I don't eat trans fats." The mother replied, "Oh? I'd heard they've eliminated them." I walked over to the table, picked up a box, found Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil (or that combination:"one or more of the following"), and pointed it out to her saying, "See the company futzed serving size to fit under the FDA screwy rule that allows crap in our food." I'd written about this myself a few years back: http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/Newsletters/03_Nov.htm#Label See what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
Very good and vital information. Thanks Robert! Soon I will be moving to an isolated rural area in the hill country west of San Antonio where I will spend my time almost exclusively meticulously researching and writing a greatly expanded book about cancer. The book will be published in both hard copy and e-book formats and will include an all natural protocol that addresses virtually everything we know, or are pretty sure we know, about cancer: the things that can cause cancer and the characteristics of cancer and the natural things we can do and consume to overcome and avoid them. Toxins in common home products, in our cosmetics and hygiene products, and in our foods will have a prominent place in the book and likely encompass at least an entire chapter. Cancer, and other degenerative conditions, are largely modern phenomena - and what we have introduced to our environment, our common household products, our food supply and our air, along with the nutrition and healthy practices we have taken out are largely to blame. oleander soup , robert-blau wrote: > > insider(NewsTarget) > > NewsTarget Insider Alert > (www.NewsTarget.com) > > Dear Readers, > > Do you know which foods are the worst when it comes to causing cancer? > Today's feature article reveals the top five foods to be avoided by > anyone who doesn't want to be diagnosed with breast cancer, colon > cancer, prostate cancer, leukemia or other forms of this terrible > disease. > > Most cancers can be prevented through simple changes in diet.
