I have the utmost respect for Chinese medicine. They have a history

of using natural herbs and addressing the wellness of the whole body

and mind that dates back over 6,000 years.

 

Western Medicine is only very slowly and begrudgingly coming to

recognize the validity of Chinese medicine, having taken the same

stance that they have taken for over a century against natural

medicine and healing in general: We in the west have learned more in

about a hundred years or so of " modern " practice than mankind has

learned in thousands of years.

 

Unfortunately, much as I respect Chinese medicine I have to lament the

lack of a comprehensive knowledge base and literature and have to

point out that there are a lot of unscrupulous scammers trying to pass

of snake oil cures as Chinese medicine. Be careful!
