Guest guest
Cell phones generate very very high frequency penetrating radio waves. They are very small and very penetrating. The good news is that the power output (wattage) of cell phones is only 1/10 of what it initially was. But you are still putting against your skull and brain a microwave generator. The less you ever use cell phones, the more healthy.
Guest guest
It would be interesting to read a study on how often industry studies accurately reflect health effects when they are studying the group of products the industry manufactures as compared to consumer based studies. or more neutral science in general. - Jerome Mittelman a.health & healing healing ; iodine group ; mercury fillings ; Mercury Forums ; metals Cc: Jerome Mittelman Saturday, March 24, 2007 11:12 PM health risks of cell phones Studies of health risks of cell phone use that are funded exclusively by industry are sub-stantially less likely to report statistically significant effects. Compared to studies funded by public agencies or charities, industry funded studies find adverse effects approximately 1/10th as frequently. This pattern is consistent with research funded by the tobacco and chemical industries. -- Environmental Health Perspectives Jerome Mittelman, DDS, FAPM For free sample of The Holistic Dental Digest PLUS, reply with your street or pob address. jmittelman (AT) nyc (DOT) rr.com
Guest guest
I would guess that almost all studies are funded in some way by industry. Almost all PhDs receive their grants from industry, meaning that there is very little unbiased research done. All research is aimed at discovering a method of increasing profit. Any research that fails to do this is unlikely to be published, so researchers cannot do an unbiased job.A quote from the CIA.'When everything that the American public believes is completely false, we will have achieved our objective'DavidEd Siceloff <siceloff wrote: It would be interesting to read a study on how often industry studies accurately reflect health effects when they are studying the group of products the industry manufactures as compared to consumer based studies. or more neutral science in general. - Jerome Mittelman a.health & healing healing ; iodine group ; mercury fillings ; Mercury Forums ; metals Cc: Jerome Mittelman Saturday, March 24, 2007 11:12 PM health risks of cell phones Studies of health risks of cell phone use that are funded exclusively by industry are sub-stantially less likely to report statistically significant effects. Guest guest
Industry funded studies of cell phones follows the same lines as studies of high voltage power line transmissions, microwave emissions artificial sweeteners and any number of other items that are too profitable to take off the market. And yes, the tobacco and chemical industries, along with Big Pharma, set the double-standards for such studies. Do not expect any significant changes when such huge amounts of money are riding on maintaining the dangerous products. And certainly do not expect any ready admissions of liability! Another example is styrofoam containers, which release carcinogenic benzene and styrene particles into the food and beverages they come into contact with (and it gets worse when food or beverage is heated or nuked in a microwave). The use of styrofoam and the release of such particles effects each and every one of us. A recent EPA study found styrene in the fat cells of fully 100% of autopsies - and it could have only come from one source: styrofoam! It is no accident that major food chains like MacDonalds and convenience stores have switched to more expensive and less efficient products for their foods and beverages. It is yet another huge lawsuit (think Big Tobacco) lurking on the horizon. , Jerome Mittelman <jmittelman wrote: > > Studies of health risks of cell phone use that are funded exclusively > by industry are sub-stantially less likely to report statistically > significant effects.
