Guest guest
The FDA doesn't care if we grow and eat cherries. What they are trying to do as a tool of big Pharma is to suppress the health information. The following is straight off of their website. " List of Firms Receiving Warning Letters Regarding Cherry and other Fruit-Based Products with Disease Claims in Labeling " . Maybe I am naive to some extent but if a person just grows their food or purchases it from a true organic grower then one's health should be much better. I doubt the FDA would bother anyone if they never made any claims about health. The whole purpose is to " suppress the information " so big Pharma and big Food corporations can make more money. As a friend of mine says, " The closer to home you get your food the healthier you will be. " I quit my candy and soda pop gluttony back in January 2007 and have lost 20 pounds without trying. Having given myself permission to have a candy bar or soda when I want one it has not been hard for me. Of course, since sugar feeds cancer cells it was very easy to change this habit.
