Guest guest
Theres a limit for how much you should spend on prolonging your pets life, I think, at least there is for me. My cats are like a member of my family, and if I were rich I think I might do just about anything to keep them here and functioning as long as I can. But the key word there is functioning. If you are saving a pets life only to have that pet not be able to live it as it would naturally, then you should start thinking letting your pet die with dignity, also, I think its silly to prolong a terminal condition when that condition makes life harder for the pet. But I can't say whats right for other pet owners to do, so long as they aren't hurting their animals. Some people feel the same way about people that I do about pets. That there are points when people should be allowed to put themselves out of their misery and die with some dignity. Others are passionately against that. Who's to say? Eventually we'll all die and maybe then we'll know. Or maybe not. Whatever. Big bucks for doggy day care, vets, and the major drug companies, who also advertised petmeds on television. I don't have a dog, as much as I would love to have one, because I can't afford one. I still believe an animal is an animal and if it is in pain put it to sleep.
