Guest guest Posted March 13, 2007 Report Share Posted March 13, 2007 Long term wait and see is not necessarily bad depending upon the strain and stage of prostate cancer. Many times you will find people over the age of 60 simply will not change habits including dietary patterns no matter what. Often times also you will find that PC is very slow (not always because there are some very aggressive forms), but the likelyhood of dying from something other than cancer over 75 is greater than not. Example is my father at 90 who was diagnosed 10 years ago and refuses to do anything and is still hanging in there. His heart will most probably be the cause of death in the next year or so.
