Guest guest
I'm afraid many doctors don't seem to know exactly what perimenopause is, you may do some reading or searching on the internet. I was 44 when I had my hysterectomy, so I kicked into menopause. I did not have problems with constipation, but everyone is different. My periods got heavier and heavier and more painful and not like clockwork like they had for years and years. It turned out that i had endometriosis, painful scarring on my ovaries, I felt so much better the day after the surgery that I practically hopped out of bed. Good luck to your mom! She is only 44 years old. Her period has been very weird the past few years, I kept telling her that she is probably pre menopausal, but it turns out shes not. So we're stumped about her period as well. She has her tubes tied, I don't know if that could have anything to do with it.
