Guest guest
Dear Robert, Thank you for the great post.. I found some interesting videos about TM but none that say exactly how to do TM. I called the organization to get more information but they require $2,500 in order to learn the technique. Considering how much my BA, LMT and other continuing education classes cost over a life time it is a drop in the bucket but I am not running out to fork over the cash. Some people wonder why I don't say more about chakras and auras and stuff like that. I personally started laying of hands at the age of 10 after my mom came back home from a reiki class. I asked how to do it and she said I couldn't because I wasn't " initiated " but never the less if I could, I would feel warm, healing energy come from my hands. Well, I put my hands out to try to feel it- and I could. She didn't believe me until the next day when I healed her horrible headache that had been bothering her all day, in 5 minutes. That started my whole journey. But I digress- the point being I strongly dislike things that allegedly require " special initiation or privledged/elite status or skills " . How many people never tried to do laying of hands because they thought they couldn't or worse- were told they couldn't? I believe this kind of healing is a natural function that is available to all of us. So I am very happy to provide information like this and welcome others to do so- IF we can find some sort of scientific backdrop or long standing tradition (like the 5,000+ year old Vedic teachings) to support it.. And it is free of: I can do it, but you can't or my guru vs. your guru, my technique vs. your technique, my teachings vs. your teachings- and the absolute worst- my God vs your God. Religious discussions will not be tolerated at all. And with everything- make of it what you will, enjoy... Misty L. Trepke http://health.
