Sorry, I was thinking of European nations at the time. But I suspect if u

factor out the legal and illegal immigration to the US, the birth rate would be

rather low; those poor souls who went thru the US education system unlearn the

value of a family, thus many broken family units, large number of terminated

pregnancies, small number of children being born, and fewer folks who r willing

to start a family.

 

If I see actual numbers for the US, I'll pass it along.
