Guest guest
Speaking of the flu shot (I get it every year, as is required by my job), it doesn't work to prevent flu anyhow. Everyone knows its not even intended to, its really just the government injecting mind control devices into us. I'm only half joking. Ha ha. Seriously though, we never got flu shots growing up because my mom could rarely afford health insurance for us and when she had it doctors visits had to be kept to a minimum. One year they were doing them free at her work, so she took us all in to get them, and we were all sicker that year than we ever had been. So we all swore never to get them again. The next time I got the flu shot was when I went to basic training, where, because they keep shoddy records, I actually got three flu shots in one year. I was so sick that year I thought I was going to die. I now have to get a flu shot every year in December during our annual physicals, and I get sick every year. Those jerks. Linda BC <yogieslola Yes, I " argued " the same point over the flu shot. Our local station ran an ad 2-3 years ago ... told us to be sure to get our flu shot (I never have)to avoid getting the the flu or for feeling badly when we give the flu to someone who didn't get their flu shot. Let me get this straight ... I should get a flu shot (that I don't want) to avoid giving the flu to another person who didn't get their flu shot (probably because he/she didn't want to either)?!
