Guest guest
I know a dentist recommended to my mother once that if ever she doesn't have toothpaste she should use baking soda. As I understand it, baking soda was the standard in America before commercial toothpaste got popular. Also, my boyfriend was told by a dentist in Thailand that sea salt is the only way to go for toothpaste. Apparently thats all they use in Asia. I don't know, when I went to Japan they used toothpaste, but I think when I run out of my current toothpaste I'm going to start using fluoride free salt toothpastes they sell at Whole Foods. Misty --------- Since living in Texas, I've met a lot of Mexican folks, all with perfect teeth. They told me that when they were growing up, they were so poor, they couldn't afford toothpaste so they used baking soda. Also salt is good for cleaning teeth. Commercial toothpaste invites cavities. It is a scam. Throw your toothpaste out. Just use baking soda or salt water and stay away from dentists. They kill people!
