As Helen Lovejoy has so accurately put it so many times, " Won't somebody please think of the Children?!?! " =========================================== Jessika, Most of the time when I hear the groups that say " ...for the Children... " , they're talking about things like vaccinations, and other mainstream modalities. I am also hearing a lot of the interviews that they are choosing to air - things like " IF - you knew that you could prevent cervical cancer by giving a simple vaccine, why would anyone object? " This to me is like saying " IF you could prove to me that by filling out a lotto ticket, that you could end world hunger, why would anyone object? " The problem with this is that it is simplified thinking in the extreme sense of the term, without any proof that one thing has indeed anything to do with the other.... That's a BIG IF!!!! We have seen over and over again, that people get a flu vaccine - So that they WON'T get the flu, and then...... they get the flu!!!! Typically, this is nothing more than marketing. I've been in sales for most of my life, and one learns to identify marketing when one sees it. One CREATES a need, then Fills it with a given product. It may be a bogus product to fill a bogus need! But society has been " dumbed down " and doesn't think rationally. They've been CONDITIONED to feel that the Doctor knows best...... which in most cases - is a very censored education at best. Ask one's doctor about Nutrition, Supplements: What does what to resolve any given issue, and they either give you a blank look or become irate that one would ask about preventatives or a natural supplement that would actually resolve an issue. No, Just because someone says " For the Children " ..... that doesn't mean I automatically roll over and play dead. I start looking harder to find what isn't completely obvious! Typically, there's a better resolution to the problem- than the one THEY propose. Sorry for the rant!
