Guest guest
I also had the opportunity to do reflexology on someone during an acute kidney stone attack. What was ironic was that I had no training per se other than my new reflexology book- which I got the day before. Figuring it was worth a try, I found the spot on the foot that corresponded to the kidney and the duct- and believe me- the person I was working on let me know it was the right spot. (I had to coax him down off the ceiling!) But the next day he came over and put a rock in my hand- alright, hopefully you guessed sooner than me that THAT was the kidney stone. He said of all of his attacks it was 1/2 as painful to pass, though the stone was 2x as large... Best Wishes, Misty L. If they get wedged into a bad place, or block the urine flow, they can cause excruciating pain in the back or side. The most common reason they get wedged in a bad place is because you are not drinking enough water or you are drinking to many drinks that contribute to kidney stones. Like Soda or Coffee.
