Guest guest
Hi Bing.. Have you heard about the book, " Your Bodies Many Cries For Water? " I highly recommend this book.. The basic thought is that we are made up of lots of water and a bit of stuff dissolved into that water. Yet we spend all of our time focussing on the bit of stuff disolved in us, we think about nutrients, we think about the chemicals in us that help or harm us- but when it comes to thinking of the water that comprises us- our largest " ingredient " if you will- somehow we skip over that. What if it is the water part of us that in fact needs more of our attention? In the book it is suggested that by being insufficiently hydrated we run into headaches, menstrual pain, arthritis, stomach disorders- basically nearly every complaint could be helped by drinking more water. Lots of it. Start the day, within 1/2 hour of waking with 1 gallon of water. Most people balk at that suggestion, so what about starting with 1/2 gallon but then building up?... I have tried to do it myself but then life goes on and I forget.. But I have heard from another lady who had such terrible headaches she was willing to try anything.. She wrote me back personally after a local paper printed my article and thanked me for the information. That in fact she was now headache free... Which reminds me, if you go to our " files " and look under the folder with articles I have written for Cross Winds you will find that article... I would also look at homeopathic remedies but I would need more information for that...
