Last August as I was working as an ag inspector from northern Iowa to

southern in a swath in the middle all the way up and down. I was

appalled at the amount aerial spraying that was going in thought the

state in the course of three weeks solid. I saw the yellow very

distinguishable planes in northern, middle and southern Iowa.

The day we took for the State Fair in Des Moines, along with the

thousands and thousands of other people . . . the planes were out

there spraying. It's the weirdest thing to see them preform their

duties in the air while you are driving. . instead of entertainment,

I felt like I wanted to shoot them down. . . (not have the pilot hurt

of course). . . but the idea of this happening right in front of me,

and driving through that stuff was the most helpless feeling I've

ever had. . . . why is this still allowed. . . . thank the universe

for the HEPA air filter in my car, it only does so much but better

than nothing.

Thinking about the fact that so many outdoor activities are happening

during that time the Iowa State Fair, the Meskwaki Pow Wow, the

Rodeos, just to name a few things I'm aware of that time of year, I

can't help but wonder and look at the number of people that were

affected. How many knew? How many cared? What do you do? How do

you stop it? Is it necessary?

How many people went to their doctor or chiropractor with symptoms of

cold or flu that mirror being poisoned in that way????? Is there a

practical healthy solution? Oh I'm sure mother nature has one. . .

if you know, it's time to have it happen. . . Ivy in Iowa
