The Really Large Issues

Dear Stephen,

 

Thank you for your post.

 

I have talked till I am blue in the face to family and friends about

the state we are in- and very good, very sincere people just don't

care, or even allow themselves the ability to question.

 

As a group called Searching Alternatives, I trust that people have

come here to search for alternative: methods, solutions and

answers. And all inquiries into said alternatives must have sprung

from some sort of question. As far as the Really Large Issues, even

if we stick to issues of health (most of the time- I can't help

myself on occasion)- what a great slice of the pie to see into the

rest of the dynamic. So my thought is to provide the meeting ground

where we can ask those very important and relevant questions that

seem to slip by us.

 

For example, does the global move to suppress nutrition make sense?

Is there more involved than just profit and greed? How can one

governing body claim to tell the world what is or is not allowed?

*Is this the only place we can see the dynamic of such global goals?*

 

What is this contradiction that we went to Iraq to free the people

and to deter the use of Weapons of Mass Destruction- when in fact we

are polluting not just Iraq but beyond for generations to come with

radiation from depleted uranium? Is this a correct step toward

democracy and reverence for life?

 

Do I have all the answers, no. Do I have any answers, perhaps an

inkling towards one or two.. Is there anything I can do about the

fledgling answers I have? No, not really- with the exeption of

providing a format to assist in more questions being asked. If we

look at and examine enough of the puzzle peices, I hope a cohesive

whole will emerge. From the leaves/branches we can trace downward

and go back and find the root- but right now as it stands, in my

experience of talking with others- the root is so well hidden

underground, out of discerning sight, no one can even accept that

there is a root cause- instead we really do believe the leaves and

branches are independant agents working on their own, without a

larger plan.

 

I know no one is going to listen to what I have to say, or give

attention to the answers I have found- so my goal is to inspire

people to ask their own questions- until we can agree we are looking

at the whole tree, from leaves to roots and can agree on the fruit

it is bearing and from there discern the most expedient, unified

course of action.

 

I thank you for your efforts to spread your concerns. I trust you

will continue to do so in your own unique and valuable way. Your

contributions, as always, are welcomed here.
