You find the one(s) causing the problem and balance them with the blood pressure to clear high blood pressure. Edema usually relates to water utilization and/or lymphatics and/or circulation issues, which also then need to be addressed and balanced. There are a few things I have found that a patient can use themselves to help with a lot of issues as well. The Emotional Freedom Technique by Gary Craig - http://www.emofree.com - I have found very powerful and useful in helping clear health issues, as well as the Bach flowers (and other flower) which address emotional imbalances that lead to disease. On Christmas Eve a cousin of mine came to me at a party and told me he had some congestion in his ear that none of the doctors he had seen seemed able to do anything about. After about 5-10 minutes of working with him with the EFT the congestion in his ear had completely cleared. I also had a friend of my mother's with severe knee pain of many years' duration who I tought to do the EFT a couple of weeks ago, and has had absolutely no knee pain since that time. Those are just a couple of things I have seen the EFT help. Kat
