Modern med: treating symptoms, not the cause.

Hi folks, i have a question. On a health related site i belong to, one

high and mighty doctor says " modern medicine sees the symptoms, looks

for the cause, treats the cause, and thus aleviates the symptom " I

wanted to write " BULL! " back to him, but thought i'd double check

here. Does modern med EVER treat the cause?

 

From my understanding modern med treats symptoms, because they know so

little(next to nothing) about the natural, and wholistic, delicate

interconnectedness of body systems. Also they really dont understand

how the whole system works, as they still dont realize that toxic

drugs actually very often " weaken " the bodies immune system. Heck,

they hardly even know what the immune system is!

 

Does modern med ever treat the cause, as this self rightous (oh, he

is) doc suggests? I would say " Modern western med treats the symptoms,

in an effort to cover up the real problem, which they often have no

understanding of "
