Guest guest Posted October 19, 2005 Report Share Posted October 19, 2005 Hi everyone... Please help out when posting... Kinda like sharing a kitchen, it is good manners to clean up your own mess... In posting etiqutte that means when responding to an email, write your response, keep just a little of the post your responding to, but then cut off all the rest- like the bulk of the message your responding to and all the tags and sponsor stuff below that... If you receive individual emails, it may not seem to make a difference to you, but for those who receive group emails, it makes a huge difference... Because of how many groups I stay in touch with, that is my prefered email setting; it is a very condensed compilation of all the day's email from that group, with a list on top listing the titles of all the posts. And to be honest, sometimes I see a title that seems really interesting to me, so I start scrolling down to read the actual article, and after pages and pages and pages and pages and pages and pages (isn't that just annoying there?) I give up and delete the whole message and just move on... So do unto others and trim your posts, so that your posts will be read too...
