Thanks Misty, I googled for it and it seems that mostly what is on the

market they are using glycerin and there is alcohol (from the tincture I

presume). They also add other herbs like goldenseal and thymus. Also

propolis which is great. I guess I'll add some honey too so that it will

stay longer on the throat...

 

Here are examples I found:

1.

 

Propolis Echinacea Throat Spray is an herbal combination that has soothing,

antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties to provide relief for infected

sore throat, enlarged tonsils, pharyngitis, laryngitis, sores, ulcerations

of the mouth, gums, and throat, and may also be used topically for cuts,

scratches, abrasions, sores and ulcerations of the skin.

 

Ingredients:

Echinacea root (Echinacea purpurea)(1,4) Propolis (Resina propoli)(2) Hyssop

leaf & flower (Hyssopus officinalis)(1,4) Sage leaf (Salvia

officinalis))1,4) St. John's Wort flr. & bud (Hypericum perf.)(2,3) The

herbs used to prepare this compound are: (1) Certified Organically Grown (2)

Custom Wildcrafted (3) Fresh & succulent (4) Shade-dried.

Contains: Plant Glycerine (15% v/v) Grain Alcohol (55-60% v/v)

 

Suggested Use:

Spray 2 or 3 times directly on throat and swallow. Shake well before using.

PURE GRAIN ALCOHOL USP and SPRING WATER.AVERAGE HERB STRENGTH RATIO: 1:1.5
