Guest guest
Consider reading up on xylitol if you want to cut down on sugar. Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that is found in fruits, berries, mushrooms lettuce, hardwoods, and corn cobs. The body actually makes xylitol itself. Xylitol has 40% fewer calories than sugar, and it tastes very much like sugar. Aspartame and Splenda (sucralose) are, in my opinion, very poor choices for sugar substitutes, but xylitol, in limited amounts, actually may be a healthy alternative. It can be used just like sugar. It is expensive though. Kat --- Peneilope wrote: > > > > > Not to change the subject, but how do you feel about > sugar? > I am trying to learn if it is acceptable in moderate > amounts.
