Guest guest
besides the total tonic to get you better i made a tea last time that helped with my cough--just the symptom part of it. yarrow, licorice, ginger powder and honey (all organic) i also took a syrup by tom's of maine that used marshmellow root i found the tea really helpful and soothing--the ginger gives it bite- -i would use as much as you can stand and honey will help...i would suggest making it three times a day. also some organic euclyptus--i always spell that wrong--would be great...you could put some in a bowl with hot water and inhale hope you feel better. luv laura herbal remedies , " mtg1022 " <mtg1022@e...> wrote: > are there any remedies for a very bad cough??? ive given upp on stupid doctors
Guest guest
First of all I'm glad she's better now. The cough is usually a body response to some kind of infection that the body wants to get rid of. Now it might be a bacteria (in case of flu), maybe pus but if I understand correctly she hasn't much pus getting out. It also might be some other sort of contamination like pollution, cleaning stuff etc.. Now I cant be sure 100% about it but what I'd do in such a case is trying help the body produce more pus and getting in out which in turn will get out the infection. Now lets see: you used eucalyptus which is great for desinfection, cinnamon will heat the things up and thyme is realy great for this as it is expectorant and alot more.. Now if you using EO's of these herbs its good but not enough. I'll be using herb tinctures or any other way of intake and you would want to use Verbascum, Marrubium, Glycerrhyza, Althea, Symphytum(Comphrey), Oats - those are softening and making more pus. Marrubium and Glycerrhyza are also great expectorants. You can also add Mint(desinfection and better breathing) and Ginger (for heating up the pus and making it more liquid). Just be careful with Glycerrhyza dont add much and ginger also not much. Hope it helps Dima --------- Yeah for the euc, thyme, honey, and cinnamon!!! > > Thanks a bunch everyone! > Stephanie
Guest guest
Thank you Bob I figured so, I just brought it in. Here in California I know our cold doesn't compare to other parts of the country however, it has been in the 30s at night... in the garage I'm sure it is a bit warmer. Can't be too careful though a gallon of this stuff isn't cheap either. Tammatha - Bob Banever oleander soup Monday, December 08, 2008 7:54 PM Re: Re: bad cough Tammatha, Bring it in. You don't want it to freeze... the silver might plate out if that happens. I keep my gallon bottle of Colloidal Silver in the garage, it is getting mighty cold now this time of year...should I bring it in? I remember you and saying on a number of occasions that CS can get pretty warm and be alright, but not cold, how cold is cold, cannot remember if you specified? Thanks! Tammatha - Tony oleander soup Monday, December 08, 2008 5:05 PM Re: bad cough Advanced Colloidal Silver or Advanced Ionic Silver and plenty of it taken internally and a lesser amount sprayed and breathed into the lungs through a nebulizer. If you do not have any on hand, then use whatever colloidal silver you can find until you can order some of the good stuff. ClearLungs - the combination of it and silver were the only things that worked for me when I had a really bad cough and congestion. Herbs that may help include echinacea, slippery elm bark and wild cherry bark. Local organic honey or maluka honey can also help. any that are interesting. It's what helps keeps us and our forums going! Please note: you actually find interesting and , because doing so would be a violation of our terms of service.
