Guest guest
As a Canadian,I thought I should respond to this article. Mr.Paul Cellucci doesn't get it alright. What he doesn,t get is that we are a peacefull nation.A nation that has it's own foreign policy.Foreign policy is sovereign and Mr.Cellucci has crossed the line many times coming into Canada as an ambassador from the U.S. telling us what our foreign policy should be. He doesn't get it that we do not have a foreign policy that is in every other countrys face telling them what to do ,preaching to other countries about democracy and freedom while at the same time curbing those rights at home. He doesn't get it that the reason we did not participate in the so called coalition of the willing in Iraq, is because we knew it was an illegal war as is evidenced by no discovery of WMD's and all the other lies that the administration told us,backed by bought and paid for mainline media .By the way ,why is there presently so much research on new types of atomic weaponry in the U.S. Just who has the WMD's. He doesn't get it that if there are going to be missiles coming towards North America in the air, they are not going to pointing at Canada. He doesn't get it ,if one does not respect others, they will not respect you. This applies to nations. I believe the only road to peace is through co-operation , respect , sharing of plenty. All nations are blessed not just America. We are not perfect here in Canada and we have our share of skeletons still in the closet. We are still young as a nation, as are our American friends to the south.I hope this nightmare and dark cloud that has descended upon the American people will lift soon.
