Guest guest
Dear Stephanie... Is this the worst the rash has ever been? Has it come back at all? In homeopathy rashes are almost- almost- revered... What I mean by this, is that we feel we would rather have sickness on the outside of us- a rash- than sickness on the inside of us. There is a known correlation between skin ailments and respiratory ailments. It is not at all uncommon for people to have a skin issue- take a allopathic drug of some sort- topical or not, doesn't matter, and then later- can be a while later- but lo and behold that person has a respiratory condition... What happened? The disease was suppressed and driven deeper into the body. And also it is common when dealing homeopathically with a person with respiratory issues, that gets better, and then they get a rash and often times remember the rash they had when they were younger... But once you let the rash heal naturally, both the rash and respiratory issues are gone. Think of all the things kids are burdened with- in homeopathy we call these miasms- and basically they are the stuff that the parents pass onto the kids- it can be all sorts of things... In homeopathy we also see the body suffering from acute diseases as a way for the body to clean house and in the end be stronger. So kids have more acute diseases than adults, ideally they are healed naturally, and they walk away stronger. Instead if all these acute diseases are treated through suppressive means, like allopathic drugs, they are never giving the body a chance to resolve them- hence the start of chronic disease... So what to do with a rash? At most apply a soothing oil- like almond, coconut, etc. Improve the diet, get more sleep, exercise, fresh air- all of that is great. But for me- the lesson of the story is that rashes are in fact unpleasant but good- and above all let them heal naturally... Hope that helps... It's like hives where the skin gets red then there is a white welt in the middle. She's been breaking out with this hive like rash for a couple of days now. It comes and goes as quickly as it comes on.
