skin rash

Hello there,

 

My youngest daughter (23 months) has been getting this strange rash that I can't

figure out. It's like hives where the skin gets red then there is a white welt

in the middle. She's been breaking out with this hive like rash for a couple of

days now. It comes and goes as quickly as it comes on.

 

Well tonight she woke up around 10 past 5pm from her nap and she was covered

head to toe with this rash and by the time we ate dinner at 5:30 the rash was

fading. She still has some welts and her face is still really flushed. She is

now asleep for the night (6:30) which is very unlike her.

 

I'm assuming it's a virus of some sort since she just started with a runny nose

as well. Nothing in her diet has changed so I'm not thinking allergies but I

could be wrong.

 

I would really love some opinions on this.
