Guest guest
Ross, So please tell me why I am wrong about alcohol consumption, and about your life experience with alcohol. The information that I will share with you is not from experience, but from scientific fact I don't need to take a poison into my body to know that it is not good for me. Would I be correct in assuming that you personally drink, but feel that you have not experienced any decline in your facilties? Possibly what you feel is moderation? Really not important because if you ingest alcohol in any form you are shortening your life span and opening yourself up to a weakened immune system and a compromised live. Did you know that alcohol consumption is responsible for more false positive HIV tests than anything else? Did you know that in scientific study that just three beers over a ten day period dramatically speeds up the rate that HIV and othere viruses multiply in the blood stream. That alcohol is poisonous to the liver. IT causes you to be dehydrated and here is why..... When there is alcohol in the body, the liver is forced to metabolize ti first, therefore it overwords the liver and kidneys and draws water from the system THat alcohol in males increases the estrogen levels in the body, nad in larger doses blocks the nerves necessary for erection. Alcohol molecules are so fine that they pass through the lining of the stomach and can be absored directly into the blood. That the first part of the brain to be affected by alcohol are the frontal lobes of the brain which control judgement. That women lack a digestive enzyme in the stomach that aids in the metabolism of alcohol? I could go on and on, now let me hear from you why I am wrong? I recently had a conversation with a student of natural health who believed that a little red wine is good for you and thins the blood. In fact, I believe her cultural love for wine may have been influencing her values in this regard. I think many wish that wine would be a health food since they drink so much of it.
