Excellent questions, Erin!! I just remember it's produced by us being

stressed and is a factor in storing fat around the abdomen. I've got some

books and will see if they say anything else.

Cortisol is a stress hormone, so the best way to

reduce it is to reduce stress. If you want to reduce

it naturally, work on relaxation techniques such as

yoga, meditation, stretching exercises, getting a

massage, listening to calming music, anything that

helps relax you will help drop your cortisone level.
