Hi Steph...

Ok... I think your going to like this...

Nux Vomica is excellent for constipation with desire to go... I had

one guy who had hemroid surgery, apparantely rather painful, but to

add insult to misery he had really hard, compacted bowel movements

due to constipation (and improper eating of course) that made the

healing area bleed and incredibly sore... Told him about Nux Vomica

and next time I saw him, he said everything was a go, if you get my

drift... Now, you are trying to eat right, so that is a great step,

but the remedies will make it a smoother transition...

Lycopodium is also well described here... Lycopodium is for gas

that wants to go up, or any discomfort after eating... But for that

I would have expected a much smaller time difference between the

eating and the discomfort- say 15 - 30 minutes, not four hours...

But lycopodium symptoms also start to feel worse from 4 to until 8

pm (but can also be mirrored at that time in the am)...

The monitoring of the symptoms once someone knows what remedies to

take, is really what requires a consultation, so as to stay on top

of everything... Because now this turns into a fine art as to how

to know whether to continue the remedy, but take it more or less

frequently... When it is time to stop the remedy, when it might be

required to change the remedy... etc... If you just wanted to take

them on an as needed basis, I don't think you should run into too

many problems, but to do this the very best, if your still

interested in a private consultation, let's do that... Just contact

me off list to continue...

Best Wishes,

Misty

day sometimes into the next evening before I can go. The gas goes

both ways. I can feel it rise up under my ribs and there are times I

can feel it move across my lower ab and down. The gas always starts

in the late afternoon. I eat lunch at noon time and by 4 I have the

gas which continues until I fall asleep and no longer notice it.
