But at the same time I also added the red yeast rice supplements (for bones, not cholesterol), calcium-rich veggies (naturally-occuring calcium), and also added high quality wholefood supplements. I also eliminated pretty much all meats from my diet. So now my bone scan shows that my bones are like a 25-year old. It took about 2-3 years for me to reverse my way-out-of-balance body. Carol M. I'm glad it can be reversed. However, I am allergic to yeast I don't eat meat to begin with. Michelle
Guest guest
Back in 1950 I started the Gaylord Hauser eating plan. It included soaking wheat berries overnight for breakfast food. .............................. nearly 140 years ago one man changed the thinking on diet completely. It all started with a small booklet entitled Letter on Corpulence Addressed to the Public, not written by a dietician or a doctor, but by an undertaker named William Banting. It became one of the most famous books on obesity ever written. First published in 1863, it went into many editions and continued to be published long after the author's death. The book was revolutionary and it should have changed western medical thinking on diet for weight loss for ever. ......................Search for the Banting diet. But it did'nt.! .........Only three men in history have been immortalized by having their names enter the English language as verbs. The first was an Irishman, Captain Boycott, whose name entered the language in the 1860s. Another was Louis Pasteur and the third was the subject of this article—William Banting, a man who came to have a great impact on many peoples' lives................Search for the Banting diet... ..................You may also think that these " new " low-carbohydrate regimes have been pioneered by far-seeing and learned medical men. Again, this is incorrect. The truth is that we would probably never have heard of diets where people could lose weight eating that most calorific of foods: fat, if it had not been for a 19th century English carpenter by the name of William Banting............Search for the Banting diet. Guest guest
Hi all! I have a dog, got her last week, that I'm allergic to. She is a husky shepherd mix, a rescue dog. Why I got her is a long story. She is 8 years old and awesome. I'm sitting here with a runny nose and I haven't been this happy in a long time! The problem is is that I feel guilty having her outside at night though I think this is best for my allergies. I am walling off the upstairs. The upstairs will be a c and the downstairs will have tons of airflow with fans. She will have two houses - one in the sun and one in the shade. I am building a gazebo for more shade and she will have her own outdoor furniture in it - oh no! fleas, lol. I need help coming up with ideas to help me tolerate her when she is in the house, which is about half the time. My family loves her and I want to do all I can to keep her. I need suggestions. I've heard of something called allerpet. Also I need to avoid all the foods I know I'm allergic to to tone down the allergic response in general. This is so confusing. All I know is I want her to be as happy as possible in her remaining years. Thanks, Kel wrote: Messages In This Digest (2 Messages) 1. Fwd: 10 foods that fight inflammation Kelly W. 2.
