soaked grains

Sure, I would love to share some things as we go along. Here is a

tip that I use for sprouting in general. Most people don't sprout

because they think it takes up alot of space and is time consuming.

Mason jars work well for sprouting. YOu take out the metal plate on

the lid, put a screen, either mesh or light metal in place and screw

back on with the outer ring. You can sprout right in the jars. Now

here is a tip that I picked up. At Wal-mart you can buy a wine rack

for about 6 dollars. IT is perfect to hold six wine bottles or

sprouting jars. THey can drain and stack right on top of each other.

Uses minimal counter space, puts the jars in the right angle for

draining. You can sprout different grains or combinations at the

same time. You can rinse them and drain them in minimal time.

For morning grains I often times soak grains overnight Steel

cut oats are my favorite. Remember that rolled oats have already

been precooked, they steam the oats to soften them and then flatten

them with a roller. Warmed in the morning with some honey and

cinnamon and flax seeds, they taste great. Thank you for letting me

share. I will share more later.
