Much more information is needed in order to help you. What are your

symptoms exactly? How often do you experience sweating? Do you have

night sweats? Do you have bleeding between periods or prolonged or

excessive menstrual bleeding? This can be an indication of a uterine

tumor. Are your periods erratic both in terms of length and amount

of flow? Are you perhaps experiencing perimenopause, which is the

first phase of menopause, or theearly symptoms of menopause, and

should be treated differently? Do your estrogen levels fluctuate?Do

you have breast tenderness, headaches,food

cravings, irritability, forgetfulness, and how extensive are the mood

swings? Exercise is extremely important especially for women in

menopause, do you exercise, and what kind and how much?

Just for your general information, here are vitamins and

minerals that are extremely important for menopause...

Vitamin E- reduces hot flashes and other symptoms of menopause.

Calms anxiety, also eases vaginal dryness

Vitamin C and the bioflavonoids hesperidin- Reduces leg cramps and

bruising and hot flashes

Calcium/magnesium- Many menopausal women, hell, many women and men

in general are deficient in these two major minerals. Magnesium is

needed for the body to assimilate calcium yet many people either

don't know this, or forget it. These help prevent osteoarthritis,

prevelant in menopausal women, and ease mental stress and anxiety.

Bone loss during menopause is important to prevent. YOu need to use

absorbable forms of calcium such as calcium gluconate, carbonate, or

citrate. Remember the ideal for the body is a 2 to 1 ratio calcium

to magnesium, so if you take 1000 mgs of calcium you need to take

500 mgs of calcium.

B complex vitamins- These help to reduce water retention, combat

fatigue nad prevent nervous and mental disorders. Niacin is very

important as it helps the body metabolize proteins, carbohydrates

and fats.

Selenium- People do not get enough selenium in their dietsl.

Selenium is most prevelant in Brazil nuts, which contain more

selenium than any other food. Selenium helps to maintain normal

hormonal function, it also brightens moods.

Evening Primerose oil- This oil contributes to estrogen production

and works as a sedative and a diuretic. IT also helps some women

control hot flashes. Using flax seed oil with Evening primerose oil

can help to maintain healthy cardiovascular wystem.

As I said, these are just general reccomendations that most

people lack in their diets. THe preferred method would be to get

these through diet. IF you give the body the right tools, it will

utilize them to fix, heal and repair. There are herbs and others

treatments that can help. WITH LOVE MARK
