IT certainly can happen. Carob is a good herb, spice to help with sugar withdrawl

and headaches. It may work for you,it is certainly harmless. Good for treating

diarrhea also. When you say sugar free, do you mean no fruits also? I only ask

because carob works so well when added to applesauce. You can make your own in

the blender, or vita mix if you have one!!

sugar withdrawal?

Yesterday was day 2 of the sugar-free-a-thon and by the end of

the day I had quite a headache.

I know it isn't an issue of water b/c I watch that very, very

closely. I personally like water. It wasn't hard to drink more

water - I just bought other beverages less. Now we basically

buy only Rice Dream for cereal and OJ for the kids.

Years ago when I went off caffeine I had headaches. After a few

days they finally, and mercifully, ended. When one of my

friends wanted to go off caffeine I advised her to wean herself

and not go cold turkey and she had a total of 2 headaches!

Yesterday was a very good day for us emotionally. We enjoyed a

holiday, Three Kings Day, and had some really good family time.

We also started a service project and we all enjoyed that.

There wasn't any stress but it was quite cold and I hate the

cold. My exposure to being outside was just enough to get some

sunlight so I don't think it was the temperature.

I honestly didn't think I was going 100% sugar free. There is

so much stuff hidden everywhere that I thought I would be

exposed to some sugar - even though I read labels. My goal was

to be as sugar free as is within my power/control to be. Maybe

I really did succeed? and my body has noticed?
