Guest guest
Has anyone ever had a headache due to sugar withdrawal? Yesterday was day 2 of the sugar-free-a-thon and by the end of the day I had quite a headache. I know it isn't an issue of water b/c I watch that very, very closely. I personally like water. It wasn't hard to drink more water - I just bought other beverages less. Now we basically buy only Rice Dream for cereal and OJ for the kids. Years ago when I went off caffeine I had headaches. After a few days they finally, and mercifully, ended. When one of my friends wanted to go off caffeine I advised her to wean herself and not go cold turkey and she had a total of 2 headaches! Yesterday was a very good day for us emotionally. We enjoyed a holiday, Three Kings Day, and had some really good family time. We also started a service project and we all enjoyed that. There wasn't any stress but it was quite cold and I hate the cold. My exposure to being outside was just enough to get some sunlight so I don't think it was the temperature. I honestly didn't think I was going 100% sugar free. There is so much stuff hidden everywhere that I thought I would be exposed to some sugar - even though I read labels. My goal was to be as sugar free as is within my power/control to be. Maybe I really did succeed? and my body has noticed? Dawne Take Mail with you!
