I know this was not directed to me, but since I suggested that a

I am very, very alternatively minded, if anyone couldn't tell yet,

and I am very conscious of not instilling fear, which unfortunately

the medical doctors are as good at if not better than diagnosing..

This is a public forum, with who knows reading what... When someone

seems to be in a situation that could be critical, we are not

talking about a cough or a sneeze, it is prudent to counsel medical

attention. Medical doctors are trained in how to diagnosis and

legally are the only ones allowed to do such...

Misty,

I totally agree. Obviously, since I am an RN, I was trained in traditional

medicine. Over the years, I have changed, and have turned to natural

alternatives, and have a practice educating on alternatives. That being said,

I

don't think you can beat traditional medicine and MDs for diagnostics.

I always advise people to see a doctor, get a diagnosis, and listen to what

they have to say. Doctors can sometimes be very helpful. What you do after

that is up to each individual, and yes, there are many times that problems

can be addressed with natural alternatives.

The problem arises, when someone does not get the diagnosis, and they

misdiagnose themselves. Many conditions have similar symptoms, and a person

may

not guess correctly. There might also be a problem that needs to be dealt

with in an expedient manner, where time is of the essence. It can sometimes be

very dangerous to proceed when you are not fully informed.
