Guest guest
Too much ego going on here . . . Face to face you could easily work out your differences. . Since that is not possible, perhaps you could agree to disagree and respect that it is not possible to get your point across in this forum. . . Sending happy thoughts to both of you. . . ivy [s-A] Why Patients Treat Themselves
Guest guest
Hi there... Let me just say you are right... A lot of doctors jump the gun and want to go directly to surgery, often times after frightening their patients to such a degree they will do anything that the MD says... But to the best of my knowledge, the way the world is, which I completely understand is not perfect, the doctors can not just force you to have surgery... And normally they would have to tell you why they want you to have surgery- say gallstones... Bingo, the whole purpose of the visit would have been satisfied at that point... I would then take that information and search out every alternative solution possible. End of allopathic visit, the start of real healing... And your right, drinking apple juice at that point would not hurt and may help, but my personal time limitations were such that I wanted to respond to that person at that time due to the potential seriousness of it, but I only had a few seconds to spare... Likewise I felt it urgent enough for this person to seek medical attention to not distract them by suggesting they research out apple juice, how much, how often, etc. My feeling was GO TO THE MEDICAL DOCTOR, this can all be discussed once we have a better picture of what is going on... To the best of my knowledge, we have not heard back yet whether it is gallstones for sure... If and when we did I was going to share a story about how I used reflexology with great success to help pass stones, plus there was someone who had contacted me requesting more focus on Reiki, or manual/energetic therapy compared to vitamins and supplement kinda information... As a side, I suggested that we all bring to the table what we have to offer, so we can all benefit, she is a Reiki practitioner, and I asked her to contribute more- and I wanted her to know and feel that her concerns were heard and respected... I brought to the table the most that I could at that moment. But if you have the time and the inclination, then please write a post suggesting apple juice... I hopefully got the point of my message across, to seek a medical opinion, let your point go across- with at least some reasoning and/or background, and the person can decide to do with this information what they wish... Win/Win/Win I have respect for you, and your posts... I appreciate that you are as concerned about alternative health freedom as I am... Thank you for being a part of S-A. Can you explain more about Internet 2? ps.- Can I ask one tiny favor? If you don't feel comfortable giving a real name, would you consider using a handle, maybe you do, I am not sure how to take your email information, and you never sign your posts... It feels strange to not be able to address an email to you personally, especially in response to one you have written me... Best Wishes, Misty L.
