Guest guest
Hi there... I know this was not directed to me, but since I suggested that a medical doctor be seen, let me put in a few words... I am very, very alternatively minded, if anyone couldn't tell yet, and I am very conscious of not instilling fear, which unfortunately the medical doctors are as good at if not better than diagnosing.. This is a public forum, with who knows reading what... When someone seems to be in a situation that could be critical, we are not talking about a cough or a sneeze, it is prudent to counsel medical attention. Medical doctors are trained in how to diagnosis and legally are the only ones allowed to do such... In this circumstance it would be nice to know just how critical of a condition this person is in... Are we talking about a minor issue or is this life threatening... To not ask these questions and just start talking about apple juice is irresponsible and could result in further harm by delaying medical attention... Or that is what the lawyer says as they sue me out of my life as the moderator of this ... Is that the way it should be, for now it is the way that it is... But still there is no harm going to a medical doctor to get their opinion of what is going on... What you do with it is completely up to you... If it sounds like hogwash, fine move on, jump directly to the alternative solutions available... Perhaps, on the off chance, it adds insight, and you discover it was not gall stones, but an infection of the xxxxx, that puts you in a completely different direction to look in, if like most alternative medicine you are diagnosis oriented... For homoeopathy, it tells me just how much wiggle room we have to play with. If someone could die in the next week from a condition that can be saved by a medical procedure, how much time do I want to play with remedies before saying, at this stage in the game, we need to look further down the road. On the other hand, maybe we learn this is just painful but not life threatening, and give the client the option of which is more important to them, pain relief with all the consequences or healing it naturally? Not to say that healing it naturally has to take a long time, but you get the idea... The person involved should have as much information as possible to make the best informed decision as possible... For better or for worse, that is the world we live in, and have to navigate around, but I hope it makes more sense as to why I suggested a MD. Misty L.
