Guest guest
Lorenzo, I am sorry for you, you simply have been given erroneous information. I do not have the time to go into detail with you, but you should know that the average vegeterian lives 7 years longer than meat eaters. Could that be because meat if so good at sustaining life? The human body was simply not made to digest meat.Your statement assumes, or says in effect that the alternative is flour and sugar. It is not only length of life that is important here, but QUALITY of life, and look around you Lorenzo, it is not only the AMerican diet that is a killer, but other countries as well. Did you know that the Finnish have the highest incidences of heart attack in the world? They also have the highest consumption of Milk per person A CONNECTION? Do not be ignorant of what you are putting into your body be aware or what it does to your body. Forcing the body to digest meat takes away vital energy that the body could be using in other areas to rebuild, repair, etc etc. Is your quality of life the same as it was twenty, thirty, forty years ago? Proper eating giving the body the nutrients that it needs to rebuild, repair and grow, can sustain life at a high quality. There are more alternatives to eating than meat and flour and sugar. Open your mind, study investigate At 53 I look 20 years younger, I do not have any gray hair. I can do everything I did at 30, and I do mean everything. It is erroneous to assume that qualtiy of life must decline with age. Lorenzo <lorenzo2 wrote: For all those who say too much protein is BAD! Sorry you are not well informed. Go search and read the paleo diet pages. Go search and read the aquatic ape books. Go search and read about Dr. Price and Hjalmer Steffanson. Go search your mind and report where you got the idea that meat is bad. The truth is simple: Many Primitive diets are very healthy, the present American diet is a slow killer, about the same as smoking. I am 78 years now. I have usually eaten all the meat I could afford till meat satiety. I am still alive. My sugar and flour eating friends are six feet under for some years now. A good friend who lived on sugar and flour had several bypass operations but could not quit eating sugar, he lived to 75, but the last 25 years were miserable for him, he finally said, " I do not want to be rescusitated again. " An aquantance just had a heart bypass at age 60, He told me that his grandparents who raised him live to a hundred, also that they were farmers who ate pork as their only meat. This guy does not eat like his grandparents. Knowledge is power, Well knowledge can be good health!
