Guest guest
Hi Misty, I agree with your leaning toward a metaphoric loving gardener. I would really appreciate it if you could/would preface potentially harmful (perhaps too strong a word here) remedies with your own professional opinion. I am just learning here and have a long way to go before I have all the information that I need to know good from not good. I think you are doing a terrific job and I appreciate all that you tell me. I have persuaded my diabetic Dad (86) to give up his 3 - 2 litre bottles of pop a day and drink bottled water instead. His blood sugars have come down beautifully. Thanks to you and this group. Hi Misty, The very bottom line is that this is your list. This list was started to help people feel BETTER about all thing that effect health/life. This means that you too need to feel good/better about the power of this list to inform and to generate respectful debate. The possbility of misinformation coming through this list strikes me as a " buyer beware " situation. Anything shared on this should not be seen as medical advice anyway. Rather we share things that open someone else up to a new set of choices and new topics for personal research. If you don't want to totally censor a post why not add a sentence before the post? Something like " I personally disagree " . Watching every post would take way too much of your time anyway. The other thing is you can allow the other person a post or two to explain their point. Chime in with your own counterpoints and then declare the topic " off limit " . Good luck with your quandry, dawne
