Note the MD wrote " GER " clearly on the record,later the accountant added a D to make it GERD as she saw TV ads. Also I take Betaine HCL after meals as I am 78. This seems to help me also. About drinking water after meals: My reading is that fruit digests fastest, say one half hour, fats and meat may take over two hours. So Drink your water before meals and after meals wait accordingly.
